The e-Performance Barometer is a survey made every two years by the Bordeaux School of Management (BEM) under the guidance of Prof. Grégory Bressolles. The paper examines the world's best wine e-commerce sites. The study is based on the feedback of 3000 users based in France, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, USA, Australia and China that evaluate the web sites on the basis of seven criteria: information relevance, ease of use, security and privacy, variety of offer, interactivity and customization, reliability, design. The paper features the international ranking of the best online wine shops. In the last 2011 edition, Wineshop.it is not just the only Italian site featured, but rises to as many as 14 positions finishing in fourth place ahead of the French websites!
