Red Wines Liguria
Liguria is a very particular region from the wine-making point of view: it is in fact characterized by a limited production in quantity, due to the difficult conformation of the territory, but extremely varied in quality, thanks to the commercial vocation of this land overlooking the sea. The main red wine of Liguria, for example, is obtained from a vine coming from the nearby Piedmont: the Ormeasco, cultivated in the Imperia area. Autochthonous is, instead, the other red grape variety typical of this region, namely Rossese.
