The Cococciola is one of the vines which origin has not been precisely determined yet. There are no documents about except rare mentions of Viala and Vermorel (1909), which tell that it is a native plant of Abruzzo. The farming system is the bower of Abruzzo and the yield per hectare is 50 quintals. The wine shows a straw yellow colour. The nose reveals a delicate bouquet with hints of white flowers in spring and obvious feelings of citrus, grapefruit and lemon, which express freshness and fragrance. A delicate flavour characterizes the phase of taste of this wine that is pleasant and intriguing. The finish is very persistent. Contains sulphites. Produced by Tenuta Ulisse - Via San Polo - 66014, Crecchio (CH) - Italy.
