Ribolla Gialla Vitas 2022

The grapes are hand-harvested towards the beginning of September and accurately soft pressed according to the wine making process ‘in white’. The fermentation is carried out at 18°C to enhance the development of primary flavors. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks with periodic stirring to keep the thin lees in suspension until bottling. The color is straw yellow, the aroma is fine and pleasant with fruity and floral nuances and the taste is consistent and rightly acidulous. Contains sulphites. Produced by Romano Vitas & Co. The producer

The winery is located in Strassoldo, a striking fortified village from the feudal age between Palmanova and Cervignano. Its head office is located in an historical residence dating back to the eighteenth century, deeply amidst an age-old park crossed by a magnolia path that goes until disappearing in the distance among the vineyards. During the last years a complete reorganization of the whole vineyard area has been carried out using modern training systems. To guarantee a strict control over the whole production process, which is entirely family-managed, every production step takes place rigorously within the estate, from the grape growing to the wine bottling.

How to keep

This wine’s finest expression occurs during its first 2-3 years. Keep it in the dark in a cool, damp room.
