This wine is made from a careful selection of grapes of the sole Teroldego variety, harvested by hand starting from the first week of September, from vineyards located on the Piana Rotaliana. Teroldego is an autochthonous vine characteristic of Trentino that expresses its best in the Piana Rotaliana. All attempts made in the past to spread the cultivation of these grapes far from this territory have failed miserably. In fact, thanks to its particular characteristics, the Piana Rotaliana gives Teroldego minerality, vigor and character. It has intense ruby red color, tending to garnet with aging. The nose is fruity with hints of raspberries and currants, broad and fine, with spicy notes. The taste is dry, firm, with the right flavor and tannicity and with a slight balsamic feel.
