This wine, of a crystalline and vibrant dark ruby colour, at the palate turns out to be wrapping and dry and contains elegant and structured tannins that contribute to make it suitable for a long ageing. The grapes are harvested manually and placed into boxes as the ancient traditions. After passing through the stalk remover, must and peels are fermented at a controlled temperature and than pressed. The juice obtained settles for 15 days. The limpid wine is than transferred partly in tonneaux and partly in French oak barrels. The ageing takes place in stainless steel vats for about 2 months and subsequently in French oak barrels and in Tonneaux for about 8 months. Before it reaches the market, the wine settles in bottles for about 4 months. Of a mighty red color , stately and spicy, with brushwood aroma, musk, raspberry and unique cherry, all bounded and softened by an elegant oak scent. Contains sulphites. The producer

The Paolo and Noemia d’Amico’s Company, located in the suggestive Vaiano’s Valley, between the striking clay ravines and bordering with Lazio and Umbria, reflects in its whole the beauty of the surrounding landscape, either from the aesthetical point of view that for the quality of the wine produced. The ambitious project of Paolo and Noemia d’Amico, to offer wines that, together with the elegance of important grape varieties as the Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir, had the capability to exalt the potentiality of this terroir, started at the end of the 80’s and has nowadays become a reality with deserved success. The vineyards are extended over the Umbria area, that produces a pleasant and equilibrate D.O.C. Orvieto, type of wine that, , is narrated, was demanded by Pinturicchio as part of his remuneration for his paintings at the Orvieto’s Cathedral. The excellence of the d’Amico’s wine increased more and more through the years and today this company represents an important reality in the Italian enological context.
