Red Wines Friuli-Venezia Giulia
The main red wines of Friuli-Venezia Giulia are produced from the two most famous Friulian native vines: Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino or Ribolla Nera. Exceptional reds, with characteristic aromas and suitable to accompany regional cuisine. Friuli Venezia Giulia is also characterized by the importation of French red berry vines of great value from which excellent wines such as Merlot and Cabernet are obtained.
