Made solely from Greco di Tufo grapes, this elegant white wine is dry, lively, with a slightly bitterish aftertaste. Delicate but persistent, shows toasted almond and ripe fruit flavour. Color is brilliant straw yellow. Contains sulphites. Produced by Società Agricola I Capitani S.r.l. - via Bosco Faiano, 15 - 83030, Torre le Nocelle (AV) - Italy.

The producer

The company "I Capitani" has been founded by Ciriaco Cefalo around 1890 and it is located at Torre le Nocelle, a small village in the heart of Irpinia. During 1920 the vineyards have been completely destroyed by phylloxera and have been replanted. Today the company has 12 hectares of vineyards and a modern cellar where the grandson of Ciriaco, who has the same name as his grandfather, continues the family traditions with success.

Excellent with shellfish and fish. Recommended as an appetizer.

How to serve it

Serve at a temperature of 9-10°C.

How to keep

Store in a cool environment at a constant temperature. Avoid direct light.
